Artwork Submission Technical Requirements

  • All images should be proofed, color corrected, and adjusted to your standards prior to submission.
  • Please include copies of your logo or client's logo, identity standards, and requirement manual if available.
  • Please designate the CMYK color code for logos, graphics, word marks, etc.
  • All designs must have 1/8" bleed on all sides. Logos and copy must be 1/4" from the trim edge.
  • Images must be submitted as CMYK for process printing.
  • Please include a high quality printout of the image’s actual size in color. This will be used to compare the color.
  • Please include a copy of all fonts or convert them to outlines. Minimum font size is 8 point. This may vary depending on the font used.
  • 300dpi resolution is necessary for output / import

Artwork Charges

There are no artwork charges as long as the files follow our technical requirements.
Additional graphic design or artwork services starts at $90/ hr net.
Actual PMS colors will incur additional charges.
Please consider a CMYK equivalent at no charge.


Our Art Department is PC based, so please send files in PC format.
We accept files from the following programs:
Please ensure that all disk and other media reads back error free.

File Formats

We accept and use the following file formats:
BITMAP (.bmp, .rle, .dib); EPS (.eps, .epsf, .ept, .eps2, .ps) GIF (.gif); JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg, .jpe, .jfif); PNG (.png); PDF (.pdf, .pdp); TIFF (.tif, .tiff).
If you have an art file that is not on this list or compatible with the above software applications, please get in touch with our art department.

PSD and AI files are preferred.

Please provide a printout of the directory for all disks sent.
Iomega Zip Disk, CD-ROM, Iomega Jaz Disk [1GB], CD-Recordable, DVD (+ or -).

Files may be uploaded to our FTP site.
(Please using your distributor User Name and Password to login)

Terms & Timelines

Terms: Prepay all artwork related fees and set-up charges; Net 30 days on credit approved accounts. A credit application is available to download. We also accept all major credit cards. If you prefer using a credit card to pay your invoice, you must fax the credit card payment authorization formback to us. Please be advised, there is a three percent credit card payment surcharge that is added to your invoice.

Timelines: Please allow 1 week for proofs and 3-5 weeks for standard production time.

General Ordering Information

Production Times
Typically 3 to 5 weeks starting from when preproduction samples are approved.

Rush Orders
Fast shipping available for additional fees. Special discount program available for order with 6 to 8 weeks lead time. Please ask your salesperson.

Overruns/Under runs
We reserve the right to ship and bill 5% on all overruns and under runs.

Standard Imprint Colors
All products CMYK/ 4-color process.

Shipping and Handling
FOB: Our warehouse is located in Lomita, Ca 90717

Drop Shipments
There is a $10 net charge (per location) to orders shipped to multiple locations

Split Shipments
Orders with multiple shipping dates will incur a $10 net charge per location.

Foreign Shipments
There is a $25 net charge for international shipping.

Claims must be made no later than 7 days after the delivery order.
